the hills on mtv![]() leave me alone - i am a sucker for trashy tv (no offense). it has turned into a guilty pleasure. and while others in DC may look to me with disdain for having such interests, i know that they're really jealous of my celebrity gossip knowledge deep down inside. yes, the lives of lauren, audrina, whitney, and heidi probably rival the events of the nation (did everyone hear about heidi montag "endorsing" john mccain? ridiculous! does she know who he is? i wonder ... haha - just kidding). now, i'm not one to know a whole lot about the goings on of "high society" out on the west coast. i've been away from so.cal long enough to begin questioning my so.cal-ness (i know - so sad! i miss so.cal ...). i'm not a huge fashionista and would opt to wear sneakers, jeans, and t-shirts to work if i could (i often push the limits far further than i should). but there is something about the interactions of the individuals on this "reality show" that draws me in week after week, time after time, and even on the internet (gawd, i love having so much information at my fingertips). the ridiculousness, the pettiness, the seemingly pointlessness. and while i know that much of this 'reality show' is scripted, there's something about it that i can't get enough of ... ahhhh!! and so, i spent the last hour watching the newest "the hills" episodes and was super glad that it was a double episode night ... what has become of me ... thoughts? |

I love catching this show at work. there is a lot of clicking to go through on myv.com, but definitely worth it.Ali1981 ...
There's nothing wrong with liking the show. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Hills but I'm truly a sucker for I Love New York (even though New York is one CRAZY woman). So with that said, who am I to judge.
